These turkey burgers are absolutely bursting with flavor. You can eat these burgers on top of fresh greens, or my favorite way is to put a juicy burger in between a toasty brioche bun and serve with arugula, red onion and a zangy mustard-mayo spread! This recipe can easily be doubled, or tripled depending on how many people you are serving, or if you are meal prepping for the week ahead.
MUSTARD TURKEY BURGERS
1. Put turkey and stone ground mustard in a large mixing bowl. Work the mustard into the meat until they are evenly combined. Divide the meat into 6 balls, then flatten those balls into 1-inch-thick patties.
2. Melt butter or pour olive oil into a large frying pan over medium-high heat, then add about 3 patties to the pan. Cook the patties for about 6 minutes on each side, until they develop a slight char. Repeat with the reamining patties.
3. Serve the burgers in between a toasted brioche bun with a heavy spread of mustard-mayo, some arugula and red onion slices.
